This may be caused due to an old firmware on the Tobii Rex.
This could be due to the fact that you have used the Rex on a different OS previously?
Anyways, you can solve it by upgrading the FW to the latest which is available in the download section, or here: http://developer.tobii.com/?wpdmdl=135
However, as the EyeX control panel, is now restarting continuously, you will A: have to downgrade EyeX or B: do the upgrade, using the command prompt tool, provided by the Gaze SDK available here: http://developer.tobii.com/gaze-sdk-download/
