Hi @pmrowley, sorry to hear about your issues.. I would first try to update the USB3 Chipset drivers on your computer, then BIOS, as this has been known to cause this problem. I assume you already tried a different USB port?
Might also be worth disabling any antivirus/firewall software just in case this is interfering with the connection.
