    Hi, I want to know if the Tobii EyeX controller can work on a 55″ TV in portrait mode as I want to use it at events but I cannot find any related articles on huge screens.

    Hi Ryan,

    Using a custom display setup it is possible to use eye tracking on a large TV if:

    1. the eye tracker is placed at about an arms length from the user
    2. the area the eye-gaze is to be tracked on corresponds to a landscape screen size of a maximum 27″ at an arms length distance from the user

    A virtual display can be setup using the Tobii Gaze SDK together with the Tobii EyeX Controller.

    I use it with my 65 inch Samsung Smart TV and it works very well.
