I’ve been looking through the SDK and it seems mostly app-based instead of game-based. I’m more than likely wrong, and feel free to correct me if I am, but I’m not really a software developer. I have developed a few applications before but nothing major and only for personal use. I’m much more of a modder/mod creator, and I know many people (including myself) would love to have eye tracking support in Bethesda Flagship series like Elder Scrolls and Fallout, much like eye tracking support works in other free-roam, open-world games like GTA5, The Division, GR Wildlands, Assassin’s Creed, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to complete or even start this project?
Would anyone like to help develop it?08/04/2017 at 11:29 #6636Alex [Tobii]ParticipantHi! Skyrim does’t have a full-featured scripting mod toolkit that allows reading/writing camera rotation and other important stuff. So unfortunately the only way to add eye tracking features is if Bethesda does source code integration. We are constantly working on getting in touch with game studios, so if we do anything with Bethesda, it will be announced.
