The DSC World integration is made via a TrackIR emulation, which could be used as-is in Star Citizen without development.
Is there a way to duplicate a Tobii GameHub profile ?
I tried creating a symbolic link / hard link / copy of Star Citizen to DSC.exe to fool the GameHub, but when I browse to find the executable in DCS World it only shows “Invalid Executable Game Path”. (On a side note : when browsing in the Flight Simulator X game tab, I can select any executable file, but this needs VJoy and I’d rather use the TrackIR emulation as it is already supported by SC.)

We don’t emulate TrackIR protocol (due to possible licensing issues). We use Freetrack protocol for some games instead, which is very similar (different dll name, no encryption). Unfortunately Star Citizen doesn’t support it. We are doing the best we can to add support for Star Citizen in the future.PS. Doing it via joystick emulation will add extra latency which won’t be a great experience

Right now I’musing FaceTrackNoIR with the TobiiExeX plugin ; which works really well, but is limited to eye tracking only. (NB: I really wish the plugin was updated to support the face tracking with the EyeTracker 4C. ^^)
In the FreeTrack plugin there is an option to emulate TrackIR as seen in this screenshot:
Using these settings, Star Citizen works flawlessly. But I admit I don’t know the legal ramifications of the trick used by this plugin.

After that, I can select “FreeTrack 2.1” as Game protocol, and the Settings button shows the screen capture of my previous post.
I just tried the latest SC PTU 3.3, and sadly the FOIP is not compatible with the Tobii cam. Which is too bad, as the FOIP come with it’s own face movement tracker, but is less precise than the Tobii one when supported.
Any news on a possibility of a Game Hub support for SC ?

With regard to Game Hub supporting Star Citizen, in fact it is up to the game developers themselves to implement eye tracking in their games. Whilst we endevour to encourage adoption in our talks with the various studios, mostly they are waiting for pressure from their own users… so please also make your petition on their own forum (or by email) to express the benefit eye tracking support would bring to the user experience!
