Would Tobii be willing to share the protocol it uses to communicate with the device over USB?
This would make it easier for us to create OSX and Linux drivers.
Of course we can do it anyway by packet sniffing and reverse engineering, but that’s starting to look like hard work.
I think it would be in Tobii’s interests to encourage this activity, as more platforms -> more sales. And currently EyeTribe has an edge over you guys by supporting non-Windows (and deservedly so, there are a tiny company!).
