Hello tobii team,
I am novice in using tobii Eye X with unity. As tobii Eye X cannot give exact position of x or y co-ordinates that we are looking on the screen, is it possible to find the area around the x and y co-ordinate (or in other words the gaze area covered by the x and y co-ordinates) where the player is looking at ?
Is there a certain point or radius up to which the gaze area is produced ? If any please help me.
Thank you very much
Hi @rasa, the accuracy per gaze point will always vary according to calibration result, user profile and environmental conditions and so accordingly there is no “fixed” distance we can provide as a buffer for accuracy.
That being said, it is reasonable to assume an average of 20 pixels radius per gaze co-ordinate. Hopefully this result meets your needs.
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
