    I have a REX marked “Desktop Edition” and the only firmware I can find on the download page is called rexdevlaptop_firmware_1.0.5.25169.20130705.1446.root.tobiipkg

    Can I use the laptop-firmware for the desktop tracker?

    Hi Henke,
    yes, the firmware for the laptop edition should work with your tracker as well. But the tracker might need a small adjustment to accept the laptop-edition firmware. I suggest that you give it a try, and if it doesn’t work, get in touch with us and we’ll fix it.

    Nope, didnt work.

    “It seems that the file you selected was not valid. Please make sure that you have selected a valid firmware package”
