Hi , I got my Tobii eyex yesterday. First off all I just want to move mouse pointer with out touching anywhere on my keyboard or mouse.
I calibrated my eyes but I did not find how to move my mouse pointer.
Can anyone help me ?
The Tobii Windows Control software is supposed to do this but it doesn’t seem to recognise the EyeX hardware! I might have to send the EyeX back if this doesn’t get some answers soon.
Hi Emrah, Mark,
the EyeX development kit doesn’t include a function to move the mouse pointer out-of-the-box, but since it’s a dev kit, you can (relatively) easily roll your own. See: this thread.
The Tobii Windows Control software is for use with Tobii’s PCEye and I-Series eye trackers. It’s possible that it will be made available for the EyeX controller as well in the future, but unfortunately it isn’t right now.
