Hi there,
Is there a way of fixing the refresh rate of the EyeX, in current use case we are getting a widely varying rate, from 33Hz up to 120Hz. Just wondering if there was a way of making that constant, Though i understand this may have performance ramifications.
Also what is it that causes the variance, is it based on CPU availability at any given time?

Hi Stephen,
There is no setting to make the data frequency constant from EyeX. The frequency depends on the type of data (what kind of filtering is done) and also on the quality of the data from the eye tracker, since all invalid data points are discarded and never sent to the client application. For example, the frequency of the Gaze Point data stream will be lower and more variable if the user is positioned in a sub-optimal way in front of the tracker so that the eye-gaze cannot be constantly tracked.
