I’ve been wanting to read all the Game of Thrones books, but it’s a bit confusing with the main series and other related books. Can anyone explain the full list of books and what order is best to read them in? I’d appreciate any tips!

Happy to help! The Game of Thrones world can definitely get a little confusing when it comes to reading order. I found a super helpful blog at BooksRun that breaks down the A Song of Ice and Fire series and explains the additional books. The main series includes A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons. Besides those, there are two more planned books, The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, which will complete the main saga. Then, if you’re up for some extra history, Fire & Blood dives into the Targaryen dynasty’s backstory, adding more layers to the world George R.R. Martin created. This blog https://booksrun.com/blog/how-many-game-of-thrones-books-are-there/ does a great job at organizing all of this, which was just what I needed to wrap my head around the series!

This is awesome, thank you! I was looking for exactly this kind of site to sort out all the Game of Thrones books. I’m definitely going to try out that BooksRun blog—thanks for the tip!
