Dear sir:
Is it possible to get eye view using ExeX SDk?
Please refer to the following screenshot for details.
The iView red-m provides eye view video, which is very useful for
users because it can be used to diagnose possible causes
regarding calibration-failure. I am wondering if I can
get similar information by using exeX sdk.
I have used the eyeX tracker for months and I have to comment
that it is a very good eye tracker for researchers because of
it’s potential in developing eye movement programs.
Best
John
Hi John,
Tobii EyeX do not provide access to “eye view” images. One reason is because it is a consumer product and not a research product, another reason is because of integrity issues, since it is meant to be used by consumers for eye-gaze interaction and not like a camera. I do not know if Tobii Pro might provide these kinds of eye view images for any of their research eye trackers.
Dear Jenny:
Thanks for your reply. It helps me a lot.
Best
John
