Greetings,
I bought the EyeX to try to use as a replacement mouse because of severe disability. I cannot use a head tracking device because of damage to my neck. I set the eyeX up to warp my cursor or around the screen whenever I press F9.
I also have a Kinesic Mouse, which is essentially a variable setup that responds to selected inputs from the face using a 3D camera. I set a key binding on the Kinesic Mouse to press F9 every time I pucker my lips. However, although the EyeX will warp the cursor around the screen if the F9 key is pressed physically, it will not respond through the Kinesic Mouse.
Anyone else with these types of issues or any relevant experience?
Many thanks.
Jamie
Hi @jcyr2016, thanks for your report. Whilst I do not have the Kinesic Mouse software, I was able to reproduce your issue by using ‘AutoHotKey’ which can also emulate key press and I did indeed experience the same problem.
Please allow me to report the issue to the developers and see what can be done. Thanks for your patience.
