    Hi

I’ve searched the forum and also the documentation, but I couldn’t find an explanation. Is it possible to capture the computer screen with gaze information? Basically, I want to record a screencast with the information where the user is looking at. Is this possible?

    Best regards
    Sebastian

Hi @johnwalker1 and thanks for your query. The recording of gaze data using the Tobii Tech range of eye tracks (4C, EyeX) requires the purchase of a special analytical use licence to do so for which you can read more @ https://analyticaluse.tobii.com/

Thereafter, you can either develop your own application to suit your needs or look at dedicated software for eye-tracking analysis offered by Tobii Pro such as Tobii Pro Lab @ https://www.tobiipro.com/product-listing/tobii-pro-lab/

That being said, if you simply wish to create a video of yourself operating an application or game, then you are free to experiment with our Tobii Ghost software @ https://gaming.tobii.com/software/ghost/ which can provide this functionality without any metrics or data storage. Perhaps this is adequate for your needs.

If you would care to provide us with further information regarding your Tobii hardware and project requirements, we would be happy to assist you further.
