Is the Sentry supported by the Gaze SDK? I’m trying the Linux SDK and I can’t get the samples to detect the device with –auto. When connected, the device reports itself as
[ 94.715203] usb 2-1: new SuperSpeed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd [ 94.733008] usb 2-1: LPM exit latency is zeroed, disabling LPM. [ 94.736013] usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=1038, idProduct=1501 [ 94.736019] usb 2-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [ 94.736023] usb 2-1: Product: SteelSeries Sentry [ 94.736026] usb 2-1: Manufacturer: SteelSeries [ 94.736029] usb 2-1: SerialNumber: 6904130020031502299
When I run the calibration sample, I get this message.
./calibration --auto No eye tracker found
This Sentry has been connected to a Windows machine and the firmware has been upgraded.
Is Tobii providing any support for this device or must I ask steelseries? Is steelseries able to answer questions about the Gaze SDK?

Unfortunately there are no Linux drivers for the Steelseries Sentry, it only works on Windows.
