Hello tobii community. I am new here and i hope you can help me.
I use my tobii eye tracker 4C especially because I have a physical disability. Especially important for me are keyboard interactors. For this I am currently using the trial version of “Project Iris.” With this software I can see on a monitor area and press various buttons. Also hold or switch is possible.
Unfortunately, “Project Iris” is no longer officially supported. So my question is: are there any official or unofficial alternatives to “Project Iris?” I would especially need the Interactors feature for keyboard-key-areas and possibly the “Eye Blink” feature. Are there any alternatives for that? Maybe over Github or somewhere else.

Although not an exhaustive list, here are a few of the alternative projects that might be of used to use although I am ensure exactly how closely they align with your need for key interactors. Please give me a try and let me know how you get on.

The mouse control would be no problem, there are enough tools for this. But I would need a software with hotkey interactors. Like Project Iris, look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0emlROwU28s&t
It’s really harder than imagining finding a second software that can do it, hm!

Certainly, if you find something please do let us know!

30/11/2020 at 13:01 #19405Grant [Tobii]KeymasterHi Mauro, probably best that you try and make direct contact with Project IRIS developers directly on this particular issue as Tobii does not own this software, thanks for your understanding. Best Wishes.
