Hello,
We’d like to integrate the upcoming IS4 controller to a tablet case, so you can have this technology on a tablet too.
Currently we are testing the waters with the EyeX, and we are somewhat disappointad, that we can’t entirely discard the use of the mouse with the current software.
We saw, that there is an extension for Chrome, but didn’t find any indication, on what it exactly does, or could it get to work.
The question is, is there an official, or 3rd party software, that can be used to be able to eg. browse the internet without a mouse?
We don’t need advanced functionality, like drag&drop, or right click yet, just simply moving the cursor, and clicking.

The EyeX Tracker is in fact designed to work in conjunction with traditional input methods such as keyboard and mouse as opposed to completely replacing them.
However, there do exists some projects such as IRIS (http://iris.xcessity.at/) which offers some of the functionality you describe.

This IRIS looks good for what we need. We probably will end up developing our own software in the end, but this will make the current testing easier. - AuthorPosts
