ParticipantHi People,
I’m completely new to this forum and I’ve joined with the hope of finding a solution for a relative who has recently been diagnosed with MND.
Not sure if anyone is aware of MND, but this disease means that the patient will lose control of all muscles except the eyes so I am keen to set up something that can be used to control a computer so he can communicate with people, or even surf the web or write documents.
Are there already plugins that can help with this?
Kind Regards,

ParticipantHi, have you tried Grid 2 software? That uses text to speak software and as far as I know that’ll work with eye tracking as well, you can get a 60 day free trial of it.

ParticipantThere are also GazeSpeaker and BKB. Besides the IRIS.
My father is a person with ALS and we intend to use this solution set plus the EyeX SDK and some switches implemented with Arduino (while useful).
