Hello
I test your device with Ubuntu 15.04 (kernel 3.19.0-33-generic #38-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 6 18:18:12 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
and with TobiiGazeSdk-CApi-4.1.0.806-linux64I Got this error :
./fwupgrade –auto tobiipkg –info-only provides me
Tobii Firmware Upgrade Tool
205 No eye tracker could be found
No tracker connectedMoreover, I’ve installed tobiihidservice version 0.1.1 amd64 (Tobii USB Service 2.0.2 – for Linux 64bit Ubuntu 14.04)
It seems that this package is only for “REX” device and is not compatible with EyeX Device Is it true ?Can you confirm me that you don’t have solution to use your eyeX with a linux solution ?
Is it a technical limitation ? Do you need help ?
Is it possible to load a firmware with windows and to use it with Linux ?Regards,
Marc

There are no Linux drivers available for the Tobii EyeX Controller, only the Tobii REX. I believe there are a number of reasons for this, but that the main reason is a business decision to only provide drivers for the currently supported platforms for the Tobii EyeX software: Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.
