Hi,
I’m a linguistics researcher and I wonder if Tobii eye tracker 5 can be used for any language experiment.
For example, I plan to conduct research on how participants notice pictures when certain sentences are read to them.
We do have a lab with heavier equipment but with the pandemic, we are also interested in more portable/affordable ones.
Is there a builder program to conduct such research?
Is license available for such a purpose?
Thanks!
Hi @genesis99, thanks for getting in touch. I am afraid that the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 has permitted use of interaction and gaming use only.
For academic research, we offer the Tobii 5L product (https://tech.tobii.com/products/eye-tracker-5l/)
For further information about licencing and sales of the 5L, please contact the team @ https://developer.tobii.com/license-agreement/
