I Just bought a tobii eye tracker 4C but i am not able to install the getting started software.
it is getting crashed and giving this error Tobii.EyeX.Engine.exe has stopped working.
please help!!19/09/2018 at 13:34 #8837Grant [Tobii]KeymasterHi @madanmodiksha, sorry to hear about your issues. I understand you are unable to actually install the software and the crash occurs during the attempt to install? In this case I would check a few steps:
– Ensure you are logged in as administrator, or have admin rights…
– Try turning off any aggressive antivirus or firewall software that might be running.
– Clear the temp files directories below and try installing againC:\Users\
\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
C:\Windows\Temp
C:\Temp-Download the latest installer online @ https://gaming.tobii.com/getstarted/
Can you choose ‘program details’ and show the output in the dialog? Also please let us know your OS and hardware specifications in detail please.
