A small question; should the tobii EyeX track both eyes?
If I use the gaze trace and close my left eye -> the gaze tracking works fine, but if I close my right eye, the left eye is not traced at all.
I had an PRK surgery on my eyes to get rid of glasses, so I’m wondering if that’s somehow affecting the behavior.
I can’t quite remember whether both eyes were tracked back when I was still wearing glasses (overall the device was extremely unaccurate when I still had my glasses)
Oh damn 😛
It seems that if you set the ‘track left eye, right eye’ etc. in the calibration screen… it sticks to that… ie. even the gaze tracker OUTSIDE the calibration is then tracking only left / right / both eyes (whichever you set).
I think I have at some point in the past set it to my right eye when I was playing around with the calibration.
anyway… mystery solved, eyes are not broken.
Hi @mtj84, glad to hear your eyes are not broken! Happy Tracking 🙂
