A few of my colleagues and I are trying to use the EyeX for a game jam, and we have run into some weird problems. We tried the device on three different computers (All PCs running on Windows 7). The device’s drivers are installed and working, so is the SDK. But we always have some errors, either it’s recognizes the USB3 port as a USB2 port or it immediately shows an error saying that something has happened and that it can’t work. The EyeX software is stuck on “Initializing…”. We’ve Updated all USB3.0 drivers and uninstalled and re-installed the tobii EyeX software. Any help would be welcome.
P.S : I’ve added some screenshots to the post.

If you have a look at our FAQ you’ll find an article describing how to manually update the USB 3.0 controller driver. This will be required for you to get the Eyex up and running. Especially on Windows 7 there are usually quite old drivers installed.
Let me know if that worked out for you.

We solved our problem, it was a defective usb cable, we changed it and now it’s working just fine.
