Hello, I’m wishing to use Tobii fusion to use similar software as the 4C. Specifically gaze control of mouse. Would this be possible? I was informed that Fusion should function with stream engine but I wonder if that would allow me to have mouse control with gaze?

I have the 4C and am wishing for improved accuracy so am on the verge of purchasing the Fusion. I know it uses Pro Sdk, but my concern is if I’ll be able to use it for gaming.

Hi @arkanuuu, the software we provide for the 4C known as “Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software” does not include gaze control of mouse but rather is designed to work alongside the mouse and keyboard by introducing features such as ‘mouse warp’ where the cursor is still controlled at a fine level by the mouse but on a course level by gaze location.

For 4C users, this can be download @ https://gaming.tobii.com/getstarted/ but I am afraid this software has not been tested or officially recognised to work with the Tobii Fusion.

You also have the option of using Eye Control directly within Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Again, this is not full mouse emulation but perhaps will be of interest to you. Further details @ https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4043921/windows-10-get-started-eye-control

I am afraid that the use of the Fusion for Gaming or Windows Interaction is not its purpose so we cannot guarantee any functionality of this type if used with the interaction software, unfortunately.
