Uninstall old Tobii EyeX for Update

I’m using Tobii Rex for my master’s thesis. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem where my eyetracker kept sending the same coordinates over and over again. A friend said he fixed the problem by updating to a newer version of the software. Apparently I was running an old one, 1.5.5.5714.

So I downloaded the newest version, but it won’t let me install before I uninstall the old version. Which I can’t find a way to do. When I go to the App Settings on Windows 10, clicking uninstall won’t do anything. Clicking “change” opens an installer window which just freezes and does nothing. (I can only get rid of it by restarting the computer)

I would really appreciate any help.
