    I have a problem connecting my Tobii eye tracker to my pc. Once I connect the device to the pc, the message “Updating eye tracker firmware…” appears. After a while, The message box titled “USB connection problem” appears. The message says that the eye tracker seems to have difficulties communicating with this USB3.0 port.
    My pc window is updated window 7 and the USB port is Etron USB 3.0 and it is up to date. I checked all the drivers update according to FAQs and they are all up to date. but the problem still exists. Can help me troubleshoot the problem?

    I’m having the exact same problem with an Etron USB 3.0 controller on an AMD system. Was this problem solved?

    EDIT: I too have updated drivers, tried with drivers from ASrock and from Etron themselves, which were both version from 7/20/2012


    Try upgrading to Windows 8.1, it has better USB 3.0 support for AMD, I solved my problem with it!
