Wifi disconnects when putting EyeX under the screen

I found a paper which describes the problem very well. “USB 3.0 Radio Frequency
Interference Impact on 2.4 GHz Wireless Devices”, Intel White Paper, April 2012. I think this is exactly what happens with the EyeX and my 2.4 GHz wifi.

Hi @chrisschaefer,

yes indeed the underlying cause was identified and since resolved in the next model of the Tobii Eye Tracker, the C4.

In the meantime, you will need to switch to a 5Ghz router to ensure smooth operation.
