We had several times the problem that the tracker apparently doesn’t track the whole screen anymore. The origin is that you use an existing calibration and change some special settings related with the screen. E.g. turn the screen from landscape to portrait format. All attempts to get the tracker working again fail. Recalibration always aborts. Re-installation of the Tobii software doesn’t fix the error either. You are in a deadlock.
The only solution that always works for us in these very rare cases is to stop the Tobii service, close the Tobii software and then open the folder “C:\ProgramData\Tobii\Tobii Interaction”. Then restart everything, set up the screen again in the Tobii software, recalibrate and everything works again.
My feature request would be to delete this folder by default when uninstalling the Tobii software.
