I got the following reply from Tobii Dynavox support regarding manual firmware upgrade.
“The easist way to check the firmware version and upgrade is through Eye Tracker Browser. The firmware follows with the TGIS installer and is placed on the device: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tobii\Gaze Interaction\EyeTrackerFirmwareReleases.”
