as you have noticed the eye tracking accuracy gets worse when there is a large angle between the gaze point and the eye tracker. The window close buttons are really balancing on the limit.
Control-clicking isn’t possible with EyeX Interaction at the moment, but I have forwarded your question to the product owner, so it might change in the future.
