I don’t know if this is the right forum for this, but I am working with raw eye tracking data from the Tobii Pro 3 Glasses. I have the 3D coordinates for the gaze position, origin, etc. that come with that (x,y,z) that are relative to the head unit. I also have the IMU data from the sensor as well (magnetometer, gyroscope and accelerometer). I am trying to apply the IMU data to the 3D coordinates to convert them to real-world coordinates and I am struggling. I don’t know if there is a particularly easy way to do the transformations, also considering the IMU is on a different frequency than the eye tracker is. There is also the challenge that the IMU data is offset from the camera as well (in one of the data manuals) so I don’t know if that affects the calculations I need to do either.
This project is in Python…Any guidance would be appreciated.
