Hi,
If for example i made a 1×1 cm button on 14″ screen, it will be hard to use tobii eyeX to pinpoint that exact button. What if i use 17″ screen and made the button to occupy the same percentage of the screen. In this case the button physical size will be larger than 1×1 cm. Could tobii eyeX be able to pinpoint this button more accurately ?
I have another thing to ask. I also have trouble using Optikey with 14″ screen. Will it be easier to use Optikey with 17″ screen ?
Hi @handyc,
Whilst there is not particular gain in accuracy through using a larger screen, having a button size that is large will obviously increase the reliability that it will be successfully selected by eye tracking.
Concurrently, yes Optikey would work better on a screen that provides larger displayed buttons
