EyeX Turning Microphone off

My Tobii EyeX Engine has recently started to exhibit a very strange behaviour. If it can’t detect my eyes (e.g. I go away from the monitor), it turns the microphone off.
When I come back and it can detect my eyes again, it turns the microphone on again.

I’m not sure whether it’s a bug or feature, but it’s not definitelly something I want. Has anyone experienced similar behaviour? How do I turn it off?

Hi Michal,

We have experimented with such a functionality internally, but it should not be active in your installation. Please upgrade to the latest EyeX Engine and try resetting all EyeX Settings and see if it helps (EyeX Settings -> EyeX Interaction -> Reset).
