Home › Forums › Legacy SDKs › Gaze for .NET connection to the Eyetracker
Hi there!
I’ve been able to connect to the eyetracker. I used a backgroundWorker to keep the loop running in the background. Now.. I’m guessing there are lots of exceptions before and during connections that can jump up. So my question is:
Is there a comprehensive guide of everything that can go wrong while trying to connect and while being connected?
–or, even better–
Is there some code Tobii has shared.. or you guys in the community.. that wraps it up? There must be something already built for such basic stuff I’m sure!
BTW: I must use Gaze, not EyeX, which I know manages most of this stuff
Hi @lukere,
Are you therefore experiencing some issues with connection drop outs with the EyeX?
Certainly, there are a number of possible reasons for this such as aggressive Antivirus software, Firewall Settings, etc, however
there is no such document that I am aware of that lists all the reasons exhaustively.
If you do have problems, if you would useful to here in more detail what is happening.
