i’m trying to setup the gaze sdk on the i series, the find current tracker function is returning null. is there anything i need to do like close processes, reconfigure something? I would like it working within two weeks if possible.

We do not generally recommend or support mixing the Gaze SDK with Assistive devices, but I think this thread should help you out:
14/06/2016 at 00:26 #5313Thane PullanParticipantso you’re saying i should uninstall everything from the Tobii Communicator package and try again?
14/06/2016 at 03:38 #5314Thane PullanParticipantactually your advice was to kill all tobii processes and check firmware. I’ll try that.
16/06/2016 at 05:53 #5326Thane PullanParticipantyes, I am receiving messages from gaze sdk to my application. one question, do i need to develop my own calibration module and what measure in the gaze data would work best.
i have already created a calibration interface so just making it work with your gaze sdk is all i need.21/06/2016 at 14:50 #5342Grant [Tobii]KeymasterHi Thane,
The calibration routines are already included within the GazeSDK.. have you tried them out yet?
24/06/2016 at 06:20 #5347Thane PullanParticipantyes tried but all i got was firmware errors and a few operation time outs.
the cursor is incredibly jumpy when my head is still.
if you have suggestions let me know. i’ll try a few things.24/06/2016 at 15:52 #5356Grant [Tobii]KeymasterHi Thane,
Sounds like a firmware issue.. I assume you have already tried upgrading the firmware via the link in the other thread?
