Tagged: Unity
HandEye is an experimental app for testing and improving eye-hand coordination. It utilizes advanced yet low-cost sensor technologies for remotely tracking eye movement and hand gestures.
The game is simple – grids are randomly highlighted in red. When the user’s eye gaze and hand position both occupy the grid simultaneously, a point (star) is earned.
The app uses hand gesture data from a Leap Motion controller and eye tracking data from a Tobii EyeX controller.
Applications for this non-contact technological approach exist in eye-hand coordination rehabilitation, testing, and training.
Congrats to your little HandEye-App!
I just ordered a developer kit and can´t wait for playing with it (and Unity/Leap).
In the end I´ll try to develop a new camera navigation for architectural walkthroughs…. Shouldn´t be too hard, what do you think?
