Hi, I am a disabled gamer, I have been playing games since I was 3, but I have never been able to fully enjoy a big part of the games I’ve played because I’m playing games with one hand. That means when I’m playing a first person game, I have to move around with the character, then move the mouse around to actually see something and this procedure repeats itself over and over. Recently I’ve found out about your device Sadly there’s not many games that are supporting this technology natively. My question is: are there any workaround to use it any game?
Hi @nba121
There are some third-party tools such as Project Iris that let you navigate and control the camera in any game – http://iris.xcessity.at/
It’s best to check the status with the developer since I heard that the project is half abandoned.
For Minecraft, there’s an accessibility mod called EyeMine – https://www.specialeffect.org.uk/eyemine
There were attempts to make accessibility mods for some other games like Hearthstone –
and Faeria
but they didn’t make it to release.
