    Hi,
I am having trouble with accuracy with the Tobii 4C device.

I have recorded this to better show what I am experiencing.

In the clip you can see that tracking both eyes doesn’t work very well, and when trying to use the left or right eye, the accuracy gets worse over time.

Does anyone have any solutions for this? Software is up to date (2.16.5)

Hi @patrick2020, sorry to hear about your troubles. From the video you sent, the accuracy does not seem to be particularly bad, although there are a couple of things you can try. Firstly, within the profile section of the Tobii Eye Tracking Software loaded from the Tray Icon, you can select ‘improve calibration’.. this is worth a preliminary attempt.

Thereafter you can look at any relevant environmental factors within the immediate area of the eye tracker. For example, please ensure there are no sources of infrared light nearby such as any open windows or spotlights. To check on environmental influence, it may be worth testing with another user to see if the accuracy improves.

Please try out these steps and let us know how you get on. Best Wishes.
