I recently removed the EyeX software from my Surface Pro 4 (running Windows 10) by uninstalling all related software packages through the Windows Control Panels.
This caused my natively supported Windows Hello login to stop working.
The lock screen indicates that the camera cannot be activated, and the Windows settings no longer show the option to configure Windows hello. There is an indicator that “nor all options are shown due to my power settings.
The drivers in the Device Manager seem all fine.Any guidance on what went wrong and how to fix it would be great.

Can I assume that if you reinstall the Tobii software, Hello is working again?
If this is the case, then I would recommend you reinstall Tobii using a Install Monitor software, then use this tool to revert completely all changes implemented during installation.

I’ll give the install monitor software a go and see whether I can make out which change might be at fault.
Any recommendations for software to use?23/05/2016 at 14:02 #5222Grant [Tobii]KeymasterHi Michael,
