Perhaps release the source code and let others add to it 😀

I’m not sure if you can use two tobii sensors together (at least the x2-30s). I know you cannot use multiple eyex sensors together, but there are several request for this functionality. I assume this is for a multiple monitor usage?

As for fatigue detection, there is a good bit of research on blink rate, eye closure rate (blink duration), and a metric referred to as PERCLOS (percentage of eye closure) that have been shown to correlate with fatigue detection. I’ve not used the analytics SDK, but i’m sure you can pull this metrics out of the data with the provided tools.

Pupil dilation could definitely be used for games!!! There are several pupillary analyses that can provide “workload” in near real time. It would be awesome to use this information to mediate the difficulty of AI in order to maintain an optimal level of engagement of expert and novice players. This information could be used as an indicator of training across time… or you could modulate an enemy/boss’s health based on peak workload levels so that your “success” was partially based on the amount of effort put forth in defeating a boss… the possibilities are endless 😀

…but I also understand that you don’t want to cannibalize the primary revenue generator of the company, i.e. the research/analytic products.

I use Chrome primarily with the EyeX on a Windows 8.1 os. Strange thing is that the scroll function for the browser used to work before I updated (I believe to 1.0), but now it doesn’t.

I was not aware of the “zoom” versus “no zoom” conditions. Probably because, as MSS noted, there could be issues with how reliably it recognizes larger objects when web browsing. I don’t use the w8 start screen much, but maybe I’ll try it out more.

As eluded to above, and mentioned in other threads. The button assignment in the the EyeX engine is at a pretty low level and cannot be assigned to a joystick using something like auto hotkey. Does anyone know of another external program that does successfully take control of the EyeX assigned buttons.
    Thanks

I have the same problem as Videojocs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I’d also like to see support for Dual/Multi-Monitor support!

So during the last step (step 4) it asks to load the default values for the EyeX or REX. I should click REX because that device has the same form factor (I think) as the PCEye Go, correct?

Since the PCEye Go with firmware version 1.1.5 (which is bundled with Tobii Gaze Interaction Software version 2.6.0) will run the Gaze SDK, can I assume that I can also do this with the PCEye Go given the above instructions, i.e. use of setdisplayarea tool? Or is that a feature that only works with the REX and TX300?

I see that version 2.5.2 of the gaze interaction software is on the PC Eye Go website, but how do I get the newest version 2.6.0.8 on a cpu that is not connected to the internet?

I have an EyeX controller and a pceye Go, but I would like to use the EyeX engine and the associated SDKs with the PCeye Go. Can the EyeX engine be used to manage the PCeye Go hardware?

This is definitely functionality that I would take advantage of. Are you saying that it is currently possible to do with multiple EyeX controllers as long as you are only using the gaze SDK and not the EyeX SDK? Or does the EyeX always require the EyeX Engine which cannot be modified for this functionality?

Any update on this feature? If would be nice to have!
