    Hello,

What are the differences in eye tracking capabilities between Assassins Creed Rogue
and Assassins Creed syndicate video games? Are there any differences in what you can accomplish between these two games using the Tobii 4C? How do I set it up? In the game itself as an option or a checkbox? Is there a list of eye tracking commands available somewhere for the video games themselves?

    Thank you, Joseph

    Hi!

Assassins Creed Syndicate has much better integration with eye tracking than Assassins Creed Rogue. Both games have settings for eye tracking features available in the options menu.

Here’s a video showcasing the eye tracking features in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAyew7-MboM

    – Aim at Gaze
    – Clean UI
    – Dynamic Light
    – Extended View

And here’ a page with more detailed description:

Assassin’s Creed Rogue was one of our first game titles so the feature set there is limited.

It showcases Auto-turn feature where basically you can use your gaze to control the direction of the player character. This feature has been replaced with more advanced and intuitive Extended View feature in more recent games.

Extended View doesn’t change the direction of your player, but instead it just turns the camera a little bit to extend your camera bounds.
