Tagged: eyex, Microsoft Surface Pro3, reading, tablet
I am using the EyeX on a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (12″ screen) for a graphic novel I’m developing. Unfortunately, the calibration angle for the EyeX makes it difficult to hold the Surface naturally for reading — currently, the reader has to extend their arms and hold the tablet at an unnatural distance from their body. I was wondering if there was an easy solution to adjust the gaze angle for slightly smaller screens or if someone had an alternative robust method for using the EyeX on tablet devices? Is this also a focus issue?
Thanks in advance!
Runi
Hi Runi,
could you maybe elaborate this issue a bit more.
We actually have been using the EyeX with Surface Pro 3 for a few different projects and actually not experienced any problems.
What you might need to do though, is to calibrate on a little further distance than actually using the Surface afterwards. Also
the dpi settings might need to be adjusted.
Cheers,
Konstantin
