ParticipantHi,
I’ve used Unity 2018.3.0f2 and Unity 5.6.6f2 with the most recent version of the SDK. I imported the package, added the demos to the scene build, and followed the other instructions here: https://tobii.github.io/UnitySDK/manual#getting-started and yet I still get the message “no gaze detected :(” in both the built version and in play mode. My camera works with other applications, and I can even get the webcam to appear on a gameobject in the same Unity project with a simple C# script. Am I missing something, or does tobii not work with these Unity versions? I can use an earlier version, which should I use? What is EyeX, and do I need that now?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi! Do you have any of these Tobii devices?
Tobii Eye Tracker 4C
or Tobii EyeX
or any laptop/monitor with integrated Tobii Eye Tracker?
https://gaming.tobii.com/products/peripherals/Does Tobii work in Windows? (Gaze trace etc). Did you calibrate the tracker?
Tobii Unity SDK requires an eye tracking hardware, it doesn’t work with a normal webcam.

ParticipantAh, I see. That’s unfortunate, somehow I missed that! Thank you.
