    Hello fellow Eye Tracking enthusiasts!

My name is Søren, and I am currently working on a masters thesis at Aalborg University, during which I have made a gaze-controlled video game called Gaze Hero!

    Screenshot from the game: https://i.imgur.com/qtY2G4n.jpg

And now, I need your help to try it out!

IF you have, a TOBII Eye Tracker 4C, I would love if you would like to play through a game test that I have prepared. It takes 5-10 minutes to complete, and you’ll get to try a new way of playing video games, using only your eyes!

    Download links:

    Google Drive ZIP download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YGtbBv41RN74GnR1Ugjt5f8CXU6eZss0

Google Drive EXE download (self-extracting RAR): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1D9uT5Sn8-Biho3YMyTHKuOZTyF3lOF3S

I need as many people to try it out as possible, and it’s super easy to participate if you have a TOBII Eye Tracker!

Thank you very much for your interest, and please share with anyone who you think might be interested aswell!

Let me know if you have any questions at all (here or by sending an email to [email protected])

    Have a nice day!

Hi @slotoe, that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing 😀

I would recommend that you also post your project on Tobii Discord @ https://discordapp.com/invite/tobiigaming where you should be able to pick up even more interested users.

In addition, it would be awesome to share the code on Github if you are willing. Best of luck with the development.

Hi @slotoe, We were wondering how your game testing has come along? Were you successfully able to find some users? Thanks for any update.

Hi @Grant, thank you for your continued interest in my project. I am happy to let you know that I was able to find enough test participants for this round of testing (~7), and had positive feedback from those!
Unfortunately I was unable to recruit any of those from the Discord channel, as the moderators were mistrusting towards my game not being open-source, and would therefore not let me post links to the test. Well, never mind that…
Now, I am currently working hard to prepare for my next (and final) user study, and I hopefully I should be able to recruit some users for that aswell (and I would be very happy if you and perhaps some of your colleagues would participate aswell).
I will create a new post here once I am ready to test again.
    Thanks for the support!

Cool! Glad to hear that you had a positive experience overall, sorry about the mixup with Discord. Hopefully all will go well in the future iterations of the project. Any issues or comments, please do feel free to get in touch again.
