The EyeTrackerBrowser class is unable to find any external Tobii Rex eyetrackers on Windows 8.1 (C# .NET application). Anybody have the same issues? Is this class deprecated.

I am basically looking to just get gaze co-ordinates in my C# application – I don’t need any of the fancier UI controls provided by EyeX. What would be the easiest way to do this?

    Thanks!

The Tobii REX eye tracker is only compatible with the Gaze SDK or EyeX SDK, both of which you can download here on Tobii Developer Zone.

The EyeTrackerBrowser class you are referring to is part of an older Tobii SDK which is not supported by this eye tracker.

Both the Gaze SDK and EyeX SDK contains samples for C#/.NET. Read more…
