    Hello.
An issue I have right now is, tobii_engine process remain running after I finish using the 4C device (pulling it from PC).

I want to avoid CPU usage when I do not use 4C on my PC, and tried ‘service tobiiusbservice stop’.
By this I could stop tobiiusbserviced daemon, but I can see a process called ‘tobii_engine –daemonize’ is still running.

What is the way to stopping it (or, what is the proper way of stopping tobii related services and daemons while I am not using the tracker device)?
I do not want to uninstall the driver/service since I want to resume using tracker when I need it.

Hi @takashimatsuzawa and thanks for your query. Whilst you can disable the Tobii Service within Windows via the Service.msc tool, you can also run
net stop “Tobii Service” and this should stop all relevant Tobii Software running (not including game hub, gaze overlay, etc)

However, we do not generally recommend doing this as little resources should be consumed if the eye tracker is not connected.

Please try this out and let us know how you get on.
