Home › Forums › Eye Tracking Devices › Irradiation power of EyeX
Hello,
I am doing a user study with EyeX. The ACGIH and ICNIRP recommend the radiation power of the sum of the infrared LEDs (770nm to 3000nm) to be below 10^(-2) W/cm^2 for prolonged use. Can I get a confirmation that the EyeX LED power level is below the recommended power level? A specific number would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.

Hi @xtsun,
The Tobii trackers have been in use for more than ten years as medical devices for assistive use worldwide. I can assure you that the radiative power of the IR emitters is well within all global safety standards.
I will see if I can supply you the specific value.
