Hi guys,
Today I just started with eyetracking in Unity. I installed the TobiiXR like the documentation said. Have everything enabled: but one problem. I do not seem to be able to get the GazeAware component? I can do highlight at gaze for instance, this works perfectly
In the sample scenes everything seems to be working just fine.
Also I’m using a HTC VIVE Pro Eye.
Thanks in advance
Hi @bram and thanks for your query. I think you may be confusing our two different Unity SDK.
We have one for Desktop use – https://developer.tobii.com/tobii-unity-sdk/
and another for VR (XR SDK) – https://vr.tobii.com/sdk/
The Desktop Unity API does indeed have a ‘GazeAware’ component but this is not something contained within the XR SDK which is the one you are using.
Hopefully, this clears up the confusion, but please do let us know if we can provide any further information. Best Wishes.
