    Dear Everyone,

I have trouble recording videos for gameplay trailers of eyetracking games. The problem is, that I’m using Camtasia Recorder, which gives me great video results, but it works as an overlay on top of what you a viewing on your desktop. So When I am recording, the eyetracker doesn’t work in the game anymore, and I have to fake the effect by scripting a mouse cursor, which isn’t really cool.

So do you know any video recorder for ingame footage that doesn’t have this problem? Because it is pretty important to show trailers en ingame footage. 😉

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

have you tried enabling the gaze point (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F12) when the EyeX is running. Maybe you can record with that enabled.

    Best,
    Markus

You can use OBS, Fraps, shadowplay etc for recording your screen. I’m uncertain if we have tested with specificly camtasia.

I hope any of the programs works for you.

To further help you in this issue Peter, could you describe your problem more detailed?
For example, is this together with the game analyzer?
