    Hello!

I would like to ask if I am developing a non-game application (WPF application, etc, etc) that uses Tobii EyeX, and the application is to be published, does this violate any of the agreement mentioned in the license? I am confused that if it is okay to publish game application only. My application does not involve any analysis or research purpose but purely for interaction between user and the application. Thanks!

Hi @arifh, this depends very much on how you are storing the gaze data itself and not necessarily the intention of the application per se. Whilst I suspect your application is likely within the terms of the licence agreement, I would encourage you to reach out to the SDK licencing team [email protected] to be sure before publishing. Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi!

It is absolutely fine to publish any interactive applications. The only thing you should check is that you are not collecting or transferring gaze data.

    Hello both,

Thanks a lot! And yes I have no intention of storing the gaze information as it is stated clearly that I should not use EyeX for analytical or research purposes 🙂
